Final Post Monday Day 1 (Dramatic or what!!)

Contacted Bex just after 6 p.m. She's fine, having had a really good rest and has been looking around the locality of Okahandje with the people she's staying with and their children. She's looking forward to a Bible Study tonight with the folk from Christ's Hope and tomorrow she makes the 5 hour journey from Okahandje to Rehoboth via Windhoek where she thinks she will be based for the whole month at the Ark (orphanage) there. Her mobile battery is about flat but she hopes to get an appropriate adaptor tomorrow to get it charged up. So, she'll be out of touch for at least 24 hrs. Be warned that if you text her it will cost you more than a normal text in the U.K. Sian and I are so thankful that she's upbeat and fine. It's also really great that through the wonders of technology we can actually talk with her directly! The other good news is that the baboon (or whatever it was) survived - bugs that cross her path won't be so lucky!! - trust me! Flash!!
