Short Update Flash

Hi happy bloggers of doom (as Bex would say). We have been in touch with Bex a number of times over the wekend and she wants me to pass on the fact that she's simply dying to get online and give a first hand update, but will have to wait until tomorrow (Tue) night to get online. So I won't steal her thunder and just sketch out what she's been up to the past days. If I get this wrong I know she'll correct me. She has been out with the care and compassion team driving the truck and taking out food etc. She wasn't too well with what turned out to be a tummy bug (about the only bug to survive getting near her) on Friday night and Saturday but had recovered enough by Saturday night to go on a trip to a lake and eat some chips. Sunday she travelled up to Okahandje with George and Emily and folk from the Ark where they had a day of ministry, prayer and fasting which ended this afternoon with a communion service. She is staying in Okandje tonight and going into Windhoek, the capital with Emily tomorrow before returning to Rehoboth for a farewell barby for Emily who leaves Wed. to return to the U.K. She wants me to expressly thank you all for the comments you've left. They really have strengthened her and helped her today. She would also like to ask all you wonderful prayer warriors out there to unite with her and the team in prayer for the "aunties", the local Namibian ladies who hekp look after the orphans at the Ark - that they would all come to know this amazing Saviour that we are privileged to love and serve. She wants to thank you all for your prayers and to let you know that she is feeling better. No matter how I try I can never say it all "like wot she does" so I'll quit and hope that she can get online tomorrow and give you the full, unadulterated, incomprehensible Bex-speak version of the last few days. Flash (....aah)!!

Hi baby, Just a little note to encourage in prayer. The Lord say`s, "I did not say to the seed of Jacob Seek me in vain I THE LORD AM RIGHEOUS,I DECLARE THINGS THAT ARE RIGHT".Let us therefore come Boldly to the throne of Great Grace. Ask and it shall be given you,Seek and you will find,Knock and the door will be opened. Sweetheart if GOD Himself has given you a burden for prayer, Seek HIS FACE with all of your heart soul and strength.Remember Moses on the mountain Israelites fighting below, Aaron and Hur held up Moses hands,(Ex17v8). That is what we back home are doing praying with you praying for you. Much Love Mum.

Hi honey, a note from Madge.Trying to practise what is being preached - attitude of mind and heart. Made a positive effort today, so when a male driver cut me up on A470 I just breathed deeply. When a customer who was obviously having a bad day at the office decided I was the little paper clip to take it out on and bent my ear for five mins, what did I do - breath deeply (said to myself, "don`t smile dear, he`ll think you're smirking) so I carried on - breathe in breathe out. What did I do when a "lovely boy" decided to crawl at 20mph in front of me all the way home. You got it!
Finally arrived home, climbed over the mountain of washing left by the boys after our weekend away, breathing deeply. I had to search for a brown papper bag? (inhaled so hard throughout the day I thought I was hyperventilating). Typical just typical, when you finally get your mind together -your body falls apart!!
Every one at work is asking about you and I have to keep them updated.Love you much Mum alias Madge.xxx

I'm sure you're doing a great job beating out God's groovy rhythm in Namibia. We're so proud of you, it's great to hear news of how you're doing.
Deiniol's 2 and half weeks old and doing brilliant. Mami and Dad not doing to bad either.

Prayers ongoing.
